I have begun a dialogue with the stone, which moves me in the heart, as the ancient marble itself.

Traces of the gentle, yet powerful landscape of Denmark, where I was born in 1964, emerge like an echo in my way of shaping: the poetry is hidden in the contrast between the power and the fragility of the stone.

During my architecture studies at The Royal Dänish Academy of Art in Copenhagen, I even then encountered a three- dimensional way of thinking, a sense of material as well as exploiting light, -all essential factors in the sculptural process. Years in Copenhagen, London and Milan as well as in Prague and Berlin are reflecting my passion for the voyage of discovering new dimensions. It is important to me to continue my story through exposing the essence of the stone and staging it, and in the course of this, creating a new tale.
